Product description
Discover the Next Japanese Pokémon TCG Expansion: Aura Seeker
Enter the next chapter of the Japanese Pokémon Card Game with Aura Seeker, the upcoming expansion identified by the set code M7 and centered around the newly revealed Mega Lucario Z ex.
Known in Japanese as ハドウシーカー (Hadou Seeker), Aura Seeker places Lucario and its signature connection to Aura at the heart of the expansion.
The first revealed M7 cards already introduce an exciting direction for the set, featuring Mega Lucario Z ex, Sigilyph ex and Riolu, with a main set numbering that extends to 78 cards before Secret Rares and other higher-numbered cards.
For fans of Lucario, Mega Evolution and Japanese Pokémon cards, Aura Seeker is shaping up to be one of the key Japanese Pokémon TCG releases of late 2026.
Important Pre-Release Information
Aura Seeker is an upcoming product and the complete Japanese product information has not yet been officially revealed.
The information in this description is based on currently revealed cards and reliable pre-release information available ahead of the full Japanese announcement.
Some details — including the complete card list, rarity lineup, final booster configuration and special card lineup — may be updated once The Pokémon Company publishes the complete product information.
Currently Known
- Japanese set name: ハドウシーカー
- Internationally known as Aura Seeker
- Set code visible on revealed cards: M7
- Main set numbering: 78 cards
- Featured Pokémon: Mega Lucario Z ex
- Expected Japanese release: November 27, 2026
- Japanese Edition
- Additional Secret Rare cards expected beyond the 78-card main set
- Full card list still to be revealed
Mega Lucario Z ex — The Star of Aura Seeker
The biggest confirmed highlight connected to Aura Seeker is Mega Lucario Z ex.
Mega Lucario Z represents a new form of one of the most popular Pokémon associated with Mega Evolution, and its Pokémon TCG debut immediately makes it one of the most important cards revealed for the upcoming generation of products.
The Japanese card carries the M7 set code and is numbered:
Mega Lucario Z ex — 057/078 — RR
Unlike many previous Lucario cards, this version appears as a Metal-type Pokémon.
Mega Lucario Z ex
- Card Number: 057/078
- Rarity: RR
- Type: Metal
- HP: 330
- Evolution: Stage 1 from Riolu
- Ability: Aura Seeker
- Attack: Dancing Fist
- Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
Its inclusion gives Aura Seeker a particularly strong identity for collectors who focus on Lucario and Mega Evolution cards.
The Aura Seeker Ability
Mega Lucario Z ex features an Ability sharing the same name as the expansion:
Aura Seeker / ハドウシーカー
While Mega Lucario Z ex is in the Active Spot, its Ability allows the player to search their deck for a Supporter card once during their turn and add it to their hand before shuffling the deck.
This creates a direct thematic connection between the Pokémon and the expansion name.
For collectors, it also makes Mega Lucario Z ex particularly recognizable: the name of its signature Ability effectively defines the identity of the entire M7 release.
Mega Lucario Z ex — Dancing Fist
Mega Lucario Z ex also features the attack:
Dancing Fist — 120+
The attack deals additional damage when the opponent's Active Pokémon is a Pokémon ex.
This allows Mega Lucario Z ex to put significant pressure on other Pokémon ex while requiring only Metal Energy.
Combined with the Aura Seeker Ability, the card is designed around both consistency and offensive pressure.
The Mega Evolution ex Rule
Mega Lucario Z ex follows the special rule used by Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
When a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, the opponent takes:
3 Prize Cards
This creates an important risk-and-reward element around Mega Evolution cards.
They offer powerful attacks, high HP and strong Abilities, but losing one can dramatically change the course of a game.
Sigilyph ex Joins M7
Another revealed card carrying the M7 set code is:
Sigilyph ex — 031/078 — RR
Sigilyph ex is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon ex with 210 HP.
Its design is particularly interesting because it directly interacts with Mega Evolution Pokémon.
Sigilyph ex
- Card Number: 031/078
- Rarity: RR
- Type: Psychic
- HP: 210
- Evolution: Basic Pokémon
- Ability: Mega Protection
- Attack: Power Cyclone
Its Mega Protection Ability prevents damage from attacks used by the opponent's Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.
This makes Sigilyph ex an interesting counter-style card within an environment increasingly centered around Mega Evolution.
Riolu — The Beginning of Mega Lucario Z
The revealed M7 cards also include:
Riolu — 044/078
Riolu is naturally one of the most important supporting Pokémon for Aura Seeker because it evolves into Mega Lucario Z ex.
The card features:
- Card Number: 044/078
- Type: Fighting
- HP: 80
- Evolution: Basic Pokémon
- Attack: Rear Kick
With Riolu and Mega Lucario Z ex already revealed together, the evolutionary line is clearly positioned as one of the central elements of M7.
Confirmed M7 Cards Revealed So Far
At the time of writing, the following Japanese M7 cards have been revealed:
Sigilyph ex
031/078 — RR
A Psychic-type Pokémon ex featuring the Mega Protection Ability.
Riolu
044/078
The Basic Pokémon required to evolve into Mega Lucario Z ex.
Mega Lucario Z ex
057/078 — RR
The flagship Mega Evolution Pokémon ex associated with Aura Seeker.
Additional cards will be added to this description as the full M7 card list is officially revealed.
A 78-Card Main Set
The numbering visible on the first revealed Japanese cards indicates that M7 contains a 78-card main set.
This number refers to the standard numbered portion of the expansion.
As with modern Japanese Pokémon TCG expansions, additional collector cards may be numbered above the main set total.
The exact number and composition of these higher-rarity cards have not yet been revealed.
This means the final complete Aura Seeker master set will contain more cards than the 78-card main set once all Secret Rare and special rarity cards are announced.
What Rarities Will Aura Seeker Include?
The complete rarity lineup has not yet been officially revealed.
Collectors should therefore be cautious with online claims regarding specific:
- AR cards
- SAR cards
- SR cards
- MUR cards
- Trainer alternate arts
- Special Lucario artwork
- Pull rates
Until these cards are officially shown, they remain speculation.
JapHunter will update the product information as new Aura Seeker cards and rarities are revealed.
Japanese Aura Seeker / Hadou Seeker
The Japanese name of the expansion is:
ハドウシーカー
This is commonly written internationally as:
Aura Seeker
The Japanese term Hadou is closely associated with Lucario's ability to sense and manipulate aura, making the expansion name a direct reference to one of Lucario's defining characteristics.
This connection becomes even clearer through Mega Lucario Z ex, whose Ability is itself named ハドウシーカー / Aura Seeker.
The set therefore has a particularly strong thematic identity centered around Lucario.
A Major Set for Lucario Collectors
Lucario has remained one of the most recognizable Pokémon among collectors since its introduction.
Aura Seeker gives Lucario collectors a new centerpiece through the debut of Mega Lucario Z ex.
The expansion will be especially interesting for collectors focused on:
- Lucario
- Riolu
- Mega Lucario
- Mega Evolution
- Japanese Pokémon cards
- M7 master sets
- Metal-type Pokémon
- Pokémon ex
- Japanese booster boxes
Any additional Lucario cards or higher-rarity versions have not yet been officially confirmed.
The Next Generation of Mega Evolution Cards
Mega Evolution continues to play a major role in the modern Pokémon TCG.
Aura Seeker arrives at an important moment, with Mega Lucario Z ex appearing alongside the newly revealed ex★ branding for the future of the Pokémon Card Game.
The exact relationship between Aura Seeker and the wider ex★ product series has not yet been fully detailed.
What is clear is that Mega Lucario Z ex represents one of the major new Pokémon cards revealed for the next phase of the game.

Current Japanese distribution information indicates a standard Japanese expansion format is expected.
The exact number of:
- Booster packs per box
- Cards per booster
- Guaranteed rarities
- Pull distribution
will be updated once the official Japanese product page is released.
No specific Secret Rare, SAR, AR or other high-rarity card is guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed by the manufacturer.
